[Free Download] The Ferryman by a Crack in Time and the Break of Dawn
Along with a rotating cast of other musicians (Preben Eikås pictured here apart from ourselves) we have been gathering regularly for many years under the name “a Crack in Time and the Break of Dawn”. The sole purpose of this is to create spontaneous, improvised music.
I am a fan of things that move slow.
Can’t say I’ve always been. I’d say it’s more of an aquired taste, much like coffee. It’s not something I would enjoy unless I’d discovered it’s deeper qualities. The subtle sweetness behind the bitter taste. The shift of awareness and that soothing feel.
I am a fan of slow moments.
Moments slow enough to freeze time. So that my awareness drifts beyond. And that oh so soothing feel. So slow that it hurts.
I am a fan of nothing special.
Because nothing special can easily become very special. Like those mountains of the Norwegian fjord and the boat upon it. Suddenly they appeared special, or maybe I am special or maybe we all are?

Thanks Joseph! Glad to hear that you like it.
Very interesting music. My first impression is mixed. It is nice to listen to. It reminds me of some other music I have which really grows on you the more you listen. Would like to hear more, keep up the good work!
Hi there Simmons. Thanks a lot for your feedback, really appreciate it! We think of the music as a kind of abstract art. You are probably right that it has to grow on the listener, but we do think it can be potentially very rewarding 🙂
Very nice! Thanks 🌠
You’re welcome Jean. Glad you like it!
I LIKE IT THANK YOU!
You’re welcome Ronald! Glad you like it!
Without getting too “new-wave” this music really appealed to my sense of calm, the kind of thing I’ve listened to previously, nothing too fancy or extravagant, just good music. Well done.
Thanks Michael! We really appreciate hearing that!
Not my kind of music, but I did like the song. I will download it.
Hi Julie, really happy to hear that you like the music!
